This monthly wombyn’s circle meets on the last Sunday from 3-5 with an optional potluck afterwards. Our next meeting is February 25.
Feminini-tea creates opportunities to be seen, heard, and held exactly as we are, supporting one another’s growth into our most authentic and empowered selves. The highest intention of Feminini-tea is to uplift and honor the feminine for the benefit of all. We have created a curated song book which we use during our gathering so that we are all able to sing circle songs together while playing shakers and drums. We also will have prayer rounds, movement practices, and explore different healing modalities together. We have herbal teas such as blue lotus and rose, and an edible altar during the ceremony. By the end of each Feminini-Tea, participants feel more emobodied in their feminine, and more connected to one another and themselves. As a result, they can more fully show up as their whole selves in their daily lives. Please bring your magickal self, a healthy dish to share for the potluck after the circle, your voice and instruments, a journal, altar items, openness, and clothing appropriate for being outdoors. We will meet in the Forest Yurt of the Common Woods in Lilburn or around the fire depending on the weather. Once the circle closes, you are welcomed to stay for more connection and conversation over a potluck meal. We encourage this community to stay connected outside of our monthly gathering as we build each other up through meaningful relationships and a resourceful support network. Facebook event: https://fb.me/e/3hqDkLDNA Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/femininiteagwinnett/ This is a free event, as every wombyn's presence is a present which adds to the potency and depth of our work together. However, we do want to limit participation to 10 wombyn to cultivate intimacy and consistency which is why we have moved to a ticketing system. We have three different ticket types to give you an opportunity to contribute to the financial needs of this organization, which includes tea, treats, songbooks, facilitator training, time spent preparing for and promoting this event, and building a larger outdoor gathering space. https://buytickets.at/thecommonwoods/1162067

Right now we have a monthly Women's group that meets on the last Sunday of the month from 5pm-7pm followed by a potluck. There is more info in a post before this one. We have tea, we sing, we pray, we meditate, and we commune with each other, offering our support in loving ourselves as we are while growing into the best version of ourselves. We also offer tea every Sunday from 10am-1pm at Communi-Tea. I'd love to get to know you better over a cup of tea. This is my way of creating intentional space to come together in community to get to know each other and have a regular time to meet up and share what is going on in our lives. If you'd like to be an active participant of our community and have offerings you'd like to share, please get in touch with me. It is my intention for 2024 to have a full calendar of Earth Skills, healing arts, rituals connected to the Cosmos, Earth, Sun, and the Moon, Red Tent offerings, Right of Passage ceremonies, Community gatherings and events, Communi-Tea every Sunday, Chari-tea music events, kids activities, campouts, and more! We are just getting started with this community which is only a 20 min drive down 78 from Decatur, yet feels like a respite from city life. We also host a monthly gathering called Celebrating Life! on 2nd Saturdays from 7pm-2am. More info on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/655227556049542/655227582716206/ or on Meetup at https://www.meetup.com/psyatlanta/events/296901856/ Blessings, Sharon, Thomas, and Bodhi Yun 415-439-3416, [email protected] On September 16th we will have a Men's listening circle at the stone circle in the Common Woods. We will have a small fire and begin around 7 p.m.
The purpose of the gathering is to practice communication. We will use different methods over time as decided by group process. For the first listening circle, we will adapt listening methods as used by Unitarians in companioning and clarification methods adapted from Ullman's group dream work method. There will be an initial round of sharing where each participant will be allowed to share uninterrupted for five minutes. No interruption, feedback or comments will occur during this first round. This will be followed by a round of clarification, focusing on one particular share. Each members can choose whether or not he wants what he has shared to be clarified. The group will ask questions about what has been shared in order to be certain about what was said and meant. Special emphasis will be given to identifying and expressing emotions. Again, no feedback or commentary will occur during this round. The round of clarification will be followed by an optional feedback round, focusing on one particular share. Any member can opt out of receiving feedback. If a member desires feedback, it will be given without any personal reference to the member who asked for feedback. For example, the other members would say, "I have experienced something similar and this is what I did or said." Or, "if I experienced something like that, I imagine I would do this or say this." There would be no use of "you" in the feedback given. If possible, as time permits, we would have a clarification round and feedback round for each member, if he chooses. Dear friends, after a break in June, we are looking forward to gathering this coming Saturday! As long as there is consent, we will try something different for the group share. We will adapt the Ullman technique from dream work to help structure the group share. This technique uses active imagination and Jungian amplification to tap into the collective unconscious to help us move from the personal to the communal experience. Attendees will be encouraged to share experiences for integration, whether it is visionary, emotional, or from dreams. Feedback will be given using "as if I had that vision", "as if I had that dream", "as if I were experiencing those emotions" instead of directly addressing the person who shared the experience.
For a more detailed description of the Ullman technique, active imagination, and Jungian amplification, please visit the Dream Collective click here. Again, for the purposes of Celebrating life, we will be sharing visions and emotional experiences, as well as dreams. Cacao, (Theobroma cacao), is a gentle stimulant that works on many levels to help us experience deeper states of love, presence and processing. The cacao we will be sharing is sourced from an indigenous women's collective in Chicacao, Guatemala called Mama Amor. We come together in circle to connect, share and reflect. There will be praying, singing, guided meditation and space for reflection throughout the ceremony. I am so looking forward to the magic of cocreating with you! ***PLEASE bring your own mug, a water bottle filled with water, instruments, and any sentimental/altar items you may want with you (journal, crystals etc)*** You are welcomed to bring flowers for the altar.
