The Atlanta Dream Collective will be converging on May 2, from 5 to 7 p.m., on our land to celebrate Thomas Yun's Birthday! Thomas will be sharing ceremonial cacao.
The Dream Collective is a transpersonal group process that shares and works with dreams based on instruction from the Institute of Dream Studies. At 7:15pm we will do a Beltane Dance where we will weave rainbow ribbons around a tree. A community fire and song circle / song swap will begin shortly after, around 7:30pm. Please bring a dish to share for a community potluck. Healthy vegetarian protein rich dishes are popular with everyone. We will serve Sharon's herbalicious teas as well. You are encouraged to come earlier in the afternoon starting from 3pm. You can visit with our family, canoe on the lake, spend time in the river, participate in farm activities, chop firewood, help with set up, and visit our young chickens. There is always much to do around here! 3-5pm Arrival and Visit the Farm 5-7pm Dream Collective 7-7:30pm Maypole 7:30-11pm Songs around the Campfire

Waddles is hard to miss - his tan little face and black body are his most distinguishing features. Betsy has a colorful assortment of golden brown wing feathers and fuzzy tan fur. I wouldn't be surprised if someone said that Robin's closest relative was a penguin - their black fur and white underside give the vibe of one. Squeaks has beautiful multi-colored wing feathers and a mostly tan body otherwise. Fin has striped feathers of black and white and a gray body, but the cherry on top is his little white bottom. Chester looks quite bulky because it has the most developed feathers, sandy brown in color and covering almost its entire body.

Dear friends, we could use some help with the woods! We are planning a volunteer day for July 8th, which is the next date for our monthly gathering Celebrating Life. We are suggesting activities which would be holistic in nature, healthy for the body, mind, and spirit.
Volunteer options include the following: shepherding, tree-herding, preparing firewood, and preparing for the gathering itself. Shepherding would occur in the morning and would involve hand-feeding the sheep and bringing them water. Preparing firewood would also occur in the morning and would involve chopping wood. Tree-herding would involve inspecting our tree friends for vines that would injure or kill them. Preparing for the gathering includes food prep and toting things to our campsite by the river. We would suggest an arrival time of no later than 10 a.m. if you want to help with sheep / firewood. Arrival time of no later than 1 p.m. if you would like to help out with gathering prep / tree-herding. We are always grateful for everyone who attends and would be grateful for this help. Please contact Thomas if you are available to help out!
Thomas Yun, M.D., will lead a workshop on collective dream work, based on instruction from the Institute of Dream Studies and the teachings of Jeremy Taylor. This will occur on Saturday, January 21, 2023 @ 5 p.m., @ UUCG, 12 Bethesda Church Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30044. GPS coordinates 33.906547, -84.081652
Group dream work differs greatly from the individual dream work that most people are familiar with; the group process can help bring out a richer understanding of a dream. For more information and to register please go to https://www.uucg.org/events/dream-workshop/ |
